i finally have friends again!

after about two semesters of being an an awkward/lonely/confused/pessimistic/rejected/icky funk, i finally feel more like myself again. I actually have weekend plans again, i have wonderful wonderful friends in my major (and in all my classes, really).

i'm just really really blessed, and i am so excited to be back to normal.

2007 was just bad.
but 2008 so far has been spectacular. and i am so thankful for it.


yayyy 2008!


life lessons learned from 2007:

• i have the best family in the world
• sometimes it is more important to know who your friends are NOT, and not necessarily who is your friend
• EVERYthing and EVERYone will disappoint you at one time or another
• Worrying really is bad for your health, and totally unhelpful
• God's time is definitely NOT our timing
• Faith is hard
• i really really love my sister
• holding grudges hurts (still working on this one)
• having a clear conscience is much more important than being recognized as "righteous"

ok. thats not it. but i'm sick of typing. needless to say, good has come from all of the bad.
