i'm an intern again.

Today was my first day as the interior design intern at Innerplan Office Interiors in N.Little Rock, AR and it was great!!

Mostly it was just intro-type things: getting familiarized with the sample library, tagging along with the full time interior designer and doing odds and ends for the things she needed to get done for the day, etc.

They have me set up with DESK with a LAPTOP and a PHONE and some awesome felt-tip pens in the sample library. My station has a little tackboard and whiteboard, and is totally surrounded by the laminate chip boards. (haha!)

Innerplan is a dealer of Haworth, but they also have all kinds of miscellaneous and smaller manufacturers that they deal as well. There is so much to learn!

I work there Thursdays and Fridays. I can already tell that it is going to be nice to be there two days a week and away from dear Harding. Its a nice way of transitioning on to bigger and better things.

Things on my mind lately:

Habakkuk 1:5
Look at the nations and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.

Habakkuk 2:20
The LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him.

Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet i will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

Acts 17:26-27
From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

Psalm 4:8
I will lie down and sleep in peace. for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

I'm a lazy blogger.

Its the beginning of the end. Which also happens to be a new beginning. Its all very exciting and about equally as scary at the same time.

This semester will be a lot different. I'll be in LR for an internship two days a week, I won't have a Bible class, and I'll only have one class a day on the days I am not working for my Internship. 9 hours! It's bliss. At least I hope it will be....

wish me luck!
