This past week was visitation week, and there is only one word to describe it:
CRAZY.
It was crazy fun, But also crazy exhausting and crazy stressful, and i got crazy sick. The visiting part wasnt stressful, but the trying to get my homework done on top of visiting was extremely stressful.
(p.s. I did visitation for Zeta Rho)
And.... its over now. i just sit around and wait to see if i get invited to 4th round mixers. eeeek!
i hope i do.
This week was also VERY emotional for me. Partly because i'm a girl and that is how i am under stress, and also because i had to face some realities that i wasn't mentally prepared to face yet.
But i'm a fighter. And i had a TON of blessings this week. I can't even begin to ennumerate them. And then that just made me even more emotional
This week made me very aware of the many MANY manyyyy blessings that i have received and i definitely DO NOT deserve.
My summer 2009 plans involve getting to go somewhere that i have wanted to go for a LONG long time, but had just accepted that i would never get the chance.
now i have the chance, and it is unbelievable.
Also, last saturday i got some potentially FANTASTIC news. Possibly the best news i've EVER gotten. We'll see how it works out.
So basically, i am BLESSED.... A LOT.
And not quite as tired now that i've recovered from visitation and now that i'm getting over this cold.
yes.

still missing summer
i'm glad to have a job. but... papercuts are the WORST.
everyone who says that brown and blue don't go together need to look at this:

gorgeous.
After being so busy all summer, and having a very busy semester in front of me, i really just find comfort in the simplicities in life.
being outside, running through sprinklers, reading a good book (Gatsby is my book of choice), having dinner with a friend, color, water, trees and dirt and leaves.
all of it.
i feel like i missed summer... somehow it escaped from me, and i really miss it.
